She: "I know a place in Brooklyn where they'll never find us."
Unless they have a super-powerful spy telescope from the upper floors of the Empire State Building. The Twin Towers were admired, the Empire State Building is loved. I had been in Brooklyn dozens of times before this, and had never noticed that you could see it from Coney Island Ave. Maybe becuase I was too busy trying to avoid the traffic.
The other thing you see from here is how much higher Brooklyn is than Manhattan. You're looking level here, and you're, what, about halfway up the building? It gives the impression of a refugee from the Transformers that you really, really hope isn't headed in your direction.
