“What Will Become Of Us?”

Seriously.  From your tenured diplomatic corps, charged with representing your interests again the sharks overseas.

The pitch for Clinton to run for Vice President came from a moderator who combined questions from two State Department employees:

“With the election season fast approaching, can you offer any predictions for the State Department after the elections in November? Specifically, are you considering staying on or not — this is the synthesis — what could we do to persuade you to run for Vice President, [and] after your tenure here comes to an end, what will you do and what will become of us?”

I’m guessing what becomes of them is that they retire will full pension.  Good grief.

UPDATE: Maybe this is what has them worried.
